Abel Tasman and his crew were successfully scared off by Ngāti Tūmatakōkiri at Mohua/Golden Bay after a brief skirmish. Today we will follow the Dutch as they make their way north along Aotearoa’s coast before leaving our shores for the wider Pacific.
